Sony Pictures Entertainment and Snyder's of Hanover


Sony Pictures Entertainment partnered with Snyder's Lance for the theatrical release of CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2. Snyder's Lance featured the film on pack of two of their brands, Lance Snacks and Snyder's of Hanover Pretzels. The campaign launched on June 19, 2013 and ran through the end of July, 2013. As part of the campaign a digital sweepstakes was promoted on select Lance sandwich cracker homepacks and Snyder's of Hanover pretzel packages as well as on in-store displays and header cards. Fans entered ther sweepstakes through Lance Snacks and Snyder's of Hanover Facebook pages for a chance to win a grand prize tip for four to the red carpet U.S. Premiere of CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2. One first prize winner was selected and received a movie screening for up to 50 people and many second, third and fourth prize winner received movie t-shirts, DVDs and posters. CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 released in theaters, September 27, 2013.
