Walt Disney Attractions and The Eastman Kodak Company teamed up to celebrate and promote DISNEYLAND''s 50th anniversary. Furthermore, the two companies wanted to promote the Hong Kong DISNEYLAND park opening in September. The Walt Disney Company and The Eastman Kodak Company offered a sweepstakes that awarded one grand-prize winner a free trip for four to the DISNEYLAND park in Anaheim, CA and then a trip to the DISNEYLAND park in Hong Kong. The grand-prize winner also received a Kodak EasyShare digital camera and an EasyShare printer dock kit. Ten first-prize winners won the digital camera and printer dock kit. Twenty second-prize winners won a Kodak camera as well as free film and processing for a year.
