Marvel Entertainment and Skype partnered to promote the release of DOCTOR STRANGE. The collaboration featured Skype's custom DOCTOR STRANGE bot, which users could add from the bot directory in the Skype App. The main character also used this service during a key plot moment in the film.

Writer/director of the film, Scott Derrickson, also sat down with Geek and Sundry’s Amy Dallen and the Bot at the press junket to see if he had what it took to become Doctor Strange’s assistant.

In addition, Skype also added a new set of DOCTOR STRANGE emoticons—inspired by some of the movie’s most iconic characters like Kaecilius and the Ancient One.
