Description:
eBay for Charity and the Council of Fashion Designers of America teamed up to fight breast cancer. The promotion supported Fashion Targets Breast Cancer, a charitable initiative of the CFDA Foundation that raises funds and awareness for breast cancer. From October 8 through October 18 eBay shoppers and fashion-lovers alike visited www.eBay.com/CFDA to browse exclusive and special-priced items, of which 100% of the proceeds will benefit Fashion Targets Breast Cancer. The partnership had several special and luxurious items up-for-grabs including APL sneakers, Kendra Scott jewelry bundle, Lulu Frost earrings, accessories from Colette Malouf and Jill Platner, advance signed copies of Dewey Nicks "Polaroids of Women" book, tee shirts from Never Fully Dressed and products from Vibrant Body Company. By donating either $10, $25, $50 or $75 to FTBC, shoppers were also entered to win a sweepstakes prize from Cosabella as well as experiences such as a Champagne Sip & Shop with designer Jonathan Simkhai and a Made to Measure Custom Hat by Nick Fouquet.
