In conjunction with the home entertainment release of FERDINAND, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment and Blue Sky Animation made a Spanish language movie-themed PSA for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The PSA aimed to raise awareness of LLS given the elevated risk of leukemia among Latino children. Singer Juanes did the VO, and his song was featured in the PSA that aired on Spanish language channels. The PSA was also shared with 30,000 plus attendees at the Telemundo Health Fair. In addition to the PSA, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment held an event at USC Children's hospital, where they screened FERDINAND and held activities for the children.

The LLS California Southland Chapter was thrilled to announce that 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has been awarded the LLS Digital Media Award for championing the creation of a 30-second Public Service Announcement in Spanish featuring the lova-BULL “Ferdinand” from the film FERDINAND released earlier this year. Award recipients not only strive for excellence in supporting and fundraising, but they’re also educating and informing the public of LLS and its mission - to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
