Description:
General Mills partnered with Pokémon for a promotion that brought Pokémon to select boxes of General Mills cereal.
The partnership allowed Pokémon booster packs to be included in specially-marked boxes of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Cocoa Puffs, Trix, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Puffs. Each booster pack included three Pokémon, two regular and one wrapped in special foil.
The promotion featured 13 distinct cards for fans to collect including Pikachu, Eevee, Charmander, or Cubone as well as Bulbasaur which was a special bonus contained in family-size boxes at Walmart stores.
The promotion began February 2019 and ran through the end of March 2019.
