The Recording Academy and People Magazine partnered to promote the 48TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS with a sweepstakes. One grand prize winner of the 48TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS sweepstakes won a trip for two to Los Angeles to watch the GRAMMY awards. The prize also included round-trip air transportation, limo service and hotel accomodations. Five first prize winners won Music goodie bags and thirty second prize winners won 2006 GRAMMY Nominees CDs. Participants entered online at people.com/grammysweeps. The sweepstakes ran from December 16, 2005 through January 2, 2006.
