Description:

Amazon Studios partnered with Gem & Bolt to promote the theatrical release of GRINGO. The promotion included the creation of a specialty cocktail, “The Spicy Gringo”, with marketing support for the film and cocktail at tastings in retail locations, events at 400+ bars and restaurants and a premiere activation. 

The bar activations included discounted drink specials and donated product as well as drink coasters featuring the “The Spicy Gringo” recipe and movie posters promoting the partnership. Off-premise retail tasting events were held at 125+ retail locations with POS promotional material including co-branded bottle hang tags, coasters and movie posters. 

Gem & Bolt also supported the movie premiere, which featured the specialty cocktail. The partnership received added exposure via an article on People magazine.
