HAPPY FEET and Taubman Malls

Taubman Shopping Centers and Warner Bros. teamed up to promote the theatrical release of HAPPY FEET. Exclusively at 17 Taubman shopping centers nationwide during the holiday season, the stores launched 'Happy Feet' Snow Globe Holiday Displays With V.I.P.P. (Very Important Penguin Parties). Beverly Center’s Grand Court became an Antarctic winter wonderland. Entertainment included Atlantic recording artist Gia Farrell, director George Miller and E.G. Daily, the voice behind baby Mumble. The snow globes brought to life key moments from the movie, and included a 20-foot walk-through snow globe, complete with a cold Antarctic blast and 300 pounds of swirling theatrical snow. Within the globe, guests found life-sized sculptures of film characters and enjoyed music from the movie soundtrack. The exhibit also showcased three-dimensional, penguin-filled HAPPY FEET scenes displayed in three, six-foot snow globes with buttons to launch interactive elements; a walk-through 28-foot holiday tree where visitors learned about key characters and a "green screen" experience where children posed for holiday pictures that made them look like they're dancing with Mumble and other film characters.
