Holland America Line N.V. partnered with O, The Oprah Magazine for a sweepstakes in which one winner and a guest had the chance to travel to either the Caribbean or Mexico on a weeklong cruise in 2019.Holland America launched the sweepstakes with the magazine to celebrate its just-introduced Nieuw Statendam. To enter the sweepstakes, participants visited SailOWaySweeps.com and completed an entry form.
Participants could receive an extra entry by sharing their sweepstakes entry on Twitter or Facebook. The sweepstakes ran through Feb. 17, 2019. The grand prize winner received a seven-day cruise for two to the Caribbean or Mexico in a verandah stateroom. Winners could choose from among the many Holland America ships in those regions, including Nieuw Statendam.
