Denny’s and 20th Century Fox teamed up for the long-awaited INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE release with a diverse campaign. An INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE BATTLE HEROES app was made available for download when fans entered their e-mail address for alerts, and a specially-created site featured exclusive content, including behind the scenes clips, official movie trailer and TV spots, along with a movie-themed episode of Denny’s popular “Grand Slams” animated series.  Fans were encouraged to post a picture with friends to Twitter or Instagram, with #IDRSweepstakes and following @DennysDiner for a chance to win a trip to the movie’s Hollywood premiere screening. Denny’s also celebrated the partnership by bringing back its “Red, White & Bacon” menu.
