Jive Records and Just Born, Inc. teamed up to promote JORDIN SPARKS with an auction to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand, a foundation for childhood cancer. Consumers could bid on “The Ultimate Fan Experience” which included a two-night trip for two to Atlanta, GA to see Jordin Sparks perform at the Phillips Arena as well as a personal meet-and-greet with Jordin and prize packs consisiting of an autographed JORDIN SPARKS press shot, autographed Battlefield CD, a JORDIN SPARKS concert t-shirt, and a backstage tour. All proceeds from the auction benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand. The auction ran from July 23 through August 9, 2009. The Mike and Ike website (www.justborn.com/mike-and-ike) also hosted exclusive content such as Jordin’s photo diary and video diary, a souvenir photo where fans can digitally insert their picture next to Jordan, tour dates, and Jordin’s twitter feed. The promotion was timed to coincide with the release of her new album, “Battlefield.”
