Just Dance and VH1 Save The Music partnered to host a contest to find a deserving school to receive an $8,000 grant for new instruments as well as a Just Dance 2016 entertainment package, including a brand-new console, television and copies of the game. The contest was open November 19 through December 6, 2015. The campaign worked in two steps. First, contestants had to check out the Community Remix featured in Just Dance 2016, where VH1 Save The Music was featured. Contestants had to then submit a video of themselves performing the Save The Music video describe why music and dance is important to their school and post their story on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtags #JustDanceContest and #SaveTheMusic. The students at P.S. 48 Joseph R. Drake Elementary School in Bronx, New York won the prize.
