Regal Cinema and DreamWorks Animation teamed up for the theatrical release of KUNG FU PANDA 3 with two giveaways. The first, "The Journey Home Sweepstakes" offered moviegoers who watched a movie in a Regal Cinema between November 26, 2015 and December 4, 2015 a special fortune cookie that contained  the chance to win a grand prize for a lucky winner and 3 guests to go to Hollywood, California and attend the KUNG FU PANDA 3 movie premiere. Jack Black promoted the special giveaway through a video on Regal Cinema's YouTube channel.

The second contest, "Kung Fu Panda 3 Social Sweepstakes" was hosted by their Regal Crown Club® rewards program. From January 25, 2016 through February 4, 2016, guests who used the “#KungFuPanda3Sweepstakes” hashtag on Facebook and Twitter were entered to win a grand prize including one Prize Pack 13” Plush Toy, Kung Fu Panda 3 Xbox 360 game 3D glasses, headband and slippers.
