GEICO was named a presenting sponosr of the MLB's game at the Field of Dreams.

The game played at a temporary stadium, built next to the field used to film the 1989 movie. The game, originally between the White Sox and Yankees, was played between the Chicago White Sox and the St. Louis Cardinals as part of the 2021 regular season. This was the first MLB game to be played in the state of Iowa.

The special game was announced in 2019.
