Major League Soccer (MLS) and Volkswagen teamed up to promote the MLS CUP with a promotional tour. Volkswagen staged MLS events in multiple cities in California the week prior to the MLS Cup, the league''s championship game, in Los Angeles, CA on November 23, 2008. Volkswagen shuttled the Philip F. Anschutz trophy from city to city while staging interactive games and 7 v 7 soccer games. The promotion was supplemented by a series of six webisodes featuring comic Mo Collins and various MLS players. The series chronicled Mo''s misadventures en route to the championship game in Los Angeles in her Volkswagen Routan minivan.
