To celebrate the film release of MARIE ANTOINETTE on October 20, one lucky winner and a guest received the chance to enjoy a unique and luxurious weekend in Versailles, the home of Marie Antoinette, courtesy of the Paris Regional Tourist Board and its partners. They traveled from London to Paris on Eurostar in Leisure Select class enjoying a comfortable and quick journey with a three course meal and wines. On arrival they traveled to Versailles, to stay at the splendid Sofitel Chateau de Versailles - once the former Royal Stables, built in the 17th century, and situated just 200 metres from the magnificent Chateau de Versailles - and enjoyed the hotel's special Marie-Antoinette package including 2 nights bed and breakfast in an executive room, a 'Marie-Antoinette dinner' at the hotel's Les Maneges Restaurant, a horse drawn carriage ride around Versailles, entry to the Chateau and the Domaine de Marie-Antoinette, as well as a copy of the biography of Marie Antoinette by Antonia Fraser, upon which the movie is based.
