Sony Pictures Entertainment, Vintage Books, and Japan for you.com partnered to promote the theatrical release of MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA. The MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA sweepstakes enabled one consumer to win a trip to Japan and up to five guests. The trip included one way coach class airfare for the winner and up to five guests and a land tour of Japan which included single occupancy hotel accomodations. Twenty-five first prize winners won an autographed MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA book with jacket artwork tied to the movie. Participants entered online at sonypictures.com/movies/memoirsofageisha/contest and filled out the online entry form. The sweepstakes began November 8, 2005 and ended December 31, 2005.
