MoonPie unveilved a voice-powered app for Amazon Alexa that created a virtual roommate, MoonPie's MoonMate. The MoonMate cold answer questions as well as hold conversations about several topics. The MoonMate could also offer to pay rent in the form of MoonPies and avoid chores just like an actual roommate. Additionally, the MoonMate was able to answer questions and provide facts about MoonPie.
To unlock the app, Amazon Alexa users just had to say "Alexa, launch MoonPie MoonMate.
