Buena Vista Pictures and Masterfoods USA partnered to promote the theatrical release of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN'S CHEST. The company rolled out a white chocolate version of M&M's which hit stores in June - similar to the Pirate Pearls featured in the film. POP displays featured animated spokescharacters dressed in pirate's garb. The partnership also included a 'Win the Treasure' on pack sweepstakes which included other brands such as Skittles and Twix. A dedicated website was created for the promotion where consumers had an opportunity to win a trip to the Bahamas by completing the online entry form at mms.com/pirates.
