For the release of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, Ford Motor Co. offered the “Quality Care Auto Service Sweepstakes” from March 31-May 25, 2003. 1st Prize: "Navigate the Caribbean", the winner and three guests received seven days and six nights in St. Thomas. Also included round-trip airfare, use of a rental vehicle to explore the island`s back roads, plus island hopper transfers to two additional islands. 2nd Prize: "Expedition to the Premiere", the winner and a guest were awarded a trip to the World Premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean, The Curse of the Black Pearl. Also included two nights accommodations and use of a rental car. 3rd Prize: Received movie passes to Pirates of the Caribbean, The Curse of the Black Pearl plus $5 off next oil change at your participating Ford, Lincoln or Mercury Dealership. Entries were available at participating Ford, Lincoln and Mercury Dealerships. Supported with in-store displays.
