Description:

Pokemon and McDonald's partnered in an effort that brought 50 new pokemon "trading cards" to McDonald's Happy Meals. 

The promotion, which was centered about Pokemon's 25th anniversary, came in four-card trading packs with Happy Meals. In total, there were reprinted art of the orginal 24 starter Pokemon and Pikach with a speicla 25th anniversary stamp on the card. All cards had both a holo and a non-holo variant, adding the final tally to 50 collectable trading cards.

Because the cards are a limited-edition run tied into the Pokemon franchise’s 25th anniversary, there is an inherent collectibility factor playing into the price of the cards.
