Niantic, Inc, developers of Pokémon Go, partnered with United Nations World Tourism Organization. As the leaders in mobile augmented reality experiences and creators of Pokémon GO and Ingress Prime, Niantic curated unique campaigns to foster exploration and build awareness of destinations around the world in collaboration with the UNWTO.

The partnership consisted of getting players to engage with real-world locations via their mobile and in-game PokéStops.

The project was part of UNWTO's Travel.Enjoy.Respect campaign.
