Lifetime Television partnered with Aquafina for the television show PROJECT RUNWAY for the "Aquafina Pure Challenge" that invited consumers, including aspiring designers, to celebrate the pure essence of who they are by submitting an original Aquafina-inspired design. The Aquafina Pure Challenge provided a platform for consumers and fashion hopefuls to showcase the look that represents them at their best.

Contestants had to submit a sketch, drawing or photograph of an original fashion design on Aquafina`s Facebook page (Facebook.com/Aquafina). Ten semi-finalists were selected from the entries and between January 11 and January 20, Aquafina`s Facebook fans voted for four finalists. The four finalists received a trip to New York City, where they competed in a live one-hour competition in conjunction with the PROJECT RUNWAY finale during Fashion Week. The Grand Prize winner was awarded with a $5,000 cash prize and a year`s worth of Aquafina. The finale of PROJECT RUNWAY aired on February 6, 2013.
