Walt Disney Pictures partnered with Claire’s Stores, Inc. to promote the theatrical release of the movie PROM through the “Claire’s Prom Style” sweepstakes. To register, participants took the “Prom Style” quiz on http://clairespromstyle.com and watched a personalized how-to video for getting their Prom Style look. Participants then posted their video on Facebook, Twitter, or by e-mail. Prize packages included a $1000 PROM Package, private screenings to view PROM, a walk-on appearance in a new Disney movie, and Claire’s accessories gift bags. The sweepstakes ran from March 17 to May 13, 2011.
