Kmart and SESAME STREET teamed up to offer free reusable laminated placemats at more than 1,500 Kmart locations from August 24-September 13, 2003. The placemats featured Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Ernie and Zoe with their favorite letters. The mats were available via mail-in requests that were found in stores.
