Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) and Bacardi partnered to promote TBS'' re-runs of SEX AND THE CITY and Bacardi''s drink, Bacardi Silver. TBS and Bacardi did a sweepstakes where 15 female winners (ages 21 and over) were given a free trip to New York City. The winner brought 2 of her female friends to New York City for a weekend. The winners received round-trip airfare, hotel accomodations, three tickets to a Broadway show, three tickets to a fashion show, $500 to the winner, and $250 to each of her two friends. Consumers entered the sweepstakes at www.bacardisilver.com or by mail. TBS and Bacardi also promoted at the retail level by creating a recipe book called ''Oh So Good'' which featured Bacardi Silver. TBS and Bacardi used outdoor ads and print ads in nationwide magazines for the promotion.
