Discovery teamed with Wilson Sporting Goods Co. to celebrate the 2021 edition of Shark Week.
The Shark Week promotion consisted of Wilson celebrating Shark Week by launching the limited-edition Shark Week volleyball.
The Shark Week ball from Wilson was designed specially to invoke the branding and aesthetic of Shark Week. The ball had a wave design with a shark as well as the Discovery and Shark Week logos.
Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of Wilson's Shark Week volleyball were donated to Beneath the Waves, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting ocean health with a focus on shark conservation.
