Livestream to Save Lives
You’re already online. So, why not get your followers to help save some homeless pets while you’re at it? When you raise funds through Best Friends Lifesaving Livestreaming, you’re helping to raise money that goes directly to supporting local animal shelters and rescue groups in your community. And we’ve got all the tips, templates and supporting resources you need to make your fundraising successful.
Tips for Lifesaving Livestreaming
Set a fundraising goal. Having a goal can help you plan ahead and motivate supporters to help you reach fundraising milestones.
Tell them where their money will go. Tell supporters that their gifts directly support lifesaving care for homeless pets, such as adoption, spay/neuter and newborn kitten care programs.
Invite your network. Having one-on-one conversations with friends and family and encouraging everyday acquaintances to check out your livestream is a great way to inspire support. You can even tell them it’s for kittens and puppies!
Make it personal. Got a cat who likes to hang out on your keyboard? Or a dog who loves a good cameo during your stream? Have an engaging personal story about why you’re raising money for homeless pets? Great! Personal stories matter to people.
Share on social media. Cross-post your livestreaming event on your social channels and let people know that you’re raising funds for homeless pets.
Acknowledge and thank supporters. Just as with all livestreaming, it’s important to call out your supporters. Make sure you recognize people contributing to your fundraiser and offer heartfelt thanks and gratitude.
