Description:

Sony Pictures Entertainment and Dell teamed up to celebrate SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING, both in front of and behind the camera. The partnership kicked off a 360-degree integrated global marketing campaign that featured the film and PC gaming industry’s newest entrant, Dell’s Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming laptop. The collaboration integrated Dell products into the film’s storyline, along with a full-scale marketing and promotional campaign that included a TV spot, cinema, print, digital advertising, out-of-home placements and consumer engagement activations throughout the summer.

Timed to the opening of the film, Dell and Sony Pictures Entertainment invited fans to play the Spider-Man Scramble video game on a pair of massive digital billboards in New York City’s Times Square (June 30 – July 1, 2017 and July 7 – July 8, 2017) all powered by Dell technology.

Sony also leveraged Dell Precision technology to create the visual effects for the film using approximately 1,000 Dell Precision workstations, more than 4,000 Dell servers and over a petabyte of Dell/EMC storage.
