CBS Consumer Products and the Museum of Pop Culture teamed up to launch “Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds” at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. The immersive exhibition will featured more than 100 rare set pieces, artifacts, props and more from the television series. Exhibit highlights included artifacts such as the original series tricorder, communicator, and phaser, a Borg cube, Klingon disruptor pistol, tribbles and more. There was also a video booth that allows visitor to reenact a scene from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Additionally, it had original story boards, concept drawings, art and scripts; Spaceship models; a retrospective on “Star Trek’s” impact on society, technology, fashion and still even more. The exhibit sat in Seattle and then moved to appear in Indianapolis from Feb. 2 – April 7, 2019.
