Warner Bros. partnered with Chrysler for the theatrical release of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. The partnership involved a contest called “Imported form Gotham City”. To be considered, contestants created a co-branded (Dark Knight & Chrysler) original television spot and submitted it to the contest website. The film`s director, Christopher Nolan chose the winning entry. The winner had their spot shown on national television, traveled to Hollywood to put the finishing touches on their work with a professional editor, and flew out to New York City to attend the red carpet premiere screening of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.
