National Academy of Recording Arts and Hyundai teamed up for the 58TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS by launching The Grammy Amplifier, an innovative online music initiative providing aspiring artists the opportunity to realize their passion and further their musical careers through one-of-a-kind experiences that serve to showcase their talent. Participants were invited to upload their songs for consideration at grammyamplifier.com. Tracks were elevated based on plays and shares, and the top 25 most amplified artist tracks were reviewed by a panel of curators. The three curators: Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist Big Sean, Lzzy Hale, lead singer and guitarist for Halestorm and rising country superstar Sam Hunt then submitted their favorites to The Grammy Amplifier ambassador who selected three winners. The winners were awarded one of these unique artist development experiences: a recording session with a GRAMMY winning producer, a music video with a noted director or an opening slot on a major tour or music festival. Winners were announced in early February 2016.
