Warner Bros. Pictures teamed up with Air New Zealand for the theatrical release of THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG. Air New Zealand featured the film on their Boegin 737 with a life-size image of the dragon, Smaug, along the sides of the plane. Other Air New Zealand planes were also decked out for the release of the film.
