The interactive map began with a map zooming in to various locations in Middle-earth. Users could explore a few different areas, and some new areas including, Trollshaw Forrest, Rivendell, and Dol Guldur. Three other areas around Lonely Mountain – Lake Town, Thranduil’s Hall, and the Lonely Mountain itself were also shown on the map.
