Partnership:

Warner Bros. Pictures and Chevrolet

Description:

Warner Bros. and Chevrolet partnered to celebrate the release of THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE. The collaboration produced a new take on the automaker’s current “Real People. Not Actors” campaign, which centers on focus groups of people who are pleasantly surprised to have their misconceptions of the brand disproven. The new ad maintained the focus group theme but used LEGO minifigures sharing their views of the Chevy LEGO Batmobile while Batman hovered in the background and delivered his own perspective of who would drive the vehicle.

Chevrolet also built a microsite for the Chevy LEGO Batmobile. The site included specs and prices for the fictitious product, formatted in the same layout as any other Chevrolet vehicle. Additionally, at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, Chevy unveiled a LEGO Batmobile, which measured to 17 feet long and was built with more than 340,000 bricks.
