Warner Bros. Pictures partnered with YouTube to promote the theatrical release of THE LEGO MOVIE 2: THE SECOND PART.

YouTube and Warner Bros. Pictures teamed up for a one-day promotional event that let users watch The Lego Movie in its entirety during Black Friday. The promotion was to stir up hype for the film’s sequel. YouTube viewers only had 24 hours to watch the movie for free, and could do so by clicking on a trailer for THE LEGO MOVIE 2: THE SECOND PART and clicking on an option to watch The Lego Movie.

Since the movie was itself the advertisement, it played without commercial breaks.
