Warner Bros. Pictures partnered with Hallmark to promote THE POLAR EXPRESS, in theaters Nov. 10. Hallmark Gold Crown stores offered exclusive movie-themed gifts including tree ornaments, wrapping papers, replica of the bells featured in the film, water globes, stocking holders, photo frames and party-ware, celebrating the holiday season. Customers who purchased three greeting cards from Hallmark were offered an option to buy a POLAR EXPRESS plush Santa for $9.95. This promotion was supported by national TV ads, in-store displays, online ads and e-mail marketing.
