Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and Amtrak teamed up to celebrate the Digital HD and Blu-ray release of THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS. The partnership included the “Pets Ride Free” promotion, which, for trips booked December 6 – December 11, 2016, allowed pets to ride at no additional cost on participating Amtrak routes from December 9, 2016 – March 31 2017.
In addition, a limited number of THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS prizes were available to customers at select stations. The program was supported in 40 Amtrak markets nationwide.
