Sony Pictures Entertainment partnered with Jakks Pacific to promote, THE SMURFS 2. Jakks Pacific created several new toys which featured some of the characters from the movie such as Smurfette, Papa Smurf, Hackus, Vexy, Vanity, etc. Some of the toys were Jumbo Plush of Papa Smurf, Mushroom House Playset, Stamps, Bean Bag Plush, etc. THE SMURFS 2 was released in theaters on July 31st, 2013.
