Description:

TikTok partnered with Mastercard on a promotion that urged soccer fans who are TikTok users to take part in a virtual wave.

The partnership, which came about in conjunction with European teams competing in the UEFA Champions League, urged TikTok users to join a #PricelessWave. To participate, TikTok users used the hashtag on a video they created of them raising their arms from the bottom of the screen to the top.

The partnership included soccer players Fernando Torres and Marcel Desailly who appeared in videos encouraging participation in the challenge.
