CLOROX began a promotion that ran through May 13 and offered the winners an ""All-Star Family Block Party"" plus $5,000. Partnering with TV Land, the maker of Kingsford Charcoal, KC Masterpiece sauces, Hidden Valley dressing and Glad products invited families to write essays about their talents and favorite group activities and submit a photo showcasing the family's talents. Consumers entered via the TV Land Web site, where the contest is prominently featured or by mail.
