Description:
Uber and Walgreen's partnered to offer free uber rides to Walgreen for people who needed trasnportation to their COVID-19 Vaccination appointment.
The initiative was present in under-served communities such as Atlanta, Houston, and Chicago. Patients who signed up for a vaccine appointment recieved an email extending an offer for the free ride.
The partnerships between Uber and Walgreens signified that transportation should never be a barrier to health care.
