Buena Vista Entertainment and Capital One teamed up to promote WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE? with "Millionaire`s One Thousand Dollar" giveaway. Participants registered online and was allowed a maximum of one entry per month during the promotional period. Each month a Grand Prize winner was randomly selected and received a $1,000 gift card courtesy of Capital One. The giveaway began September 19, 2008 and ended August 31, 2009.
