Nintendo partnered with Southwest Airlines for the gaming console WII U. Nintendo gave away a free WII U console to every single customer on flight 1883 from New Orleans to Dallas Love Field. Mario was also present and greeted every guest and made a special announcement during the flight. Nintendo, the official video game partner of Soutwest Airlines, set up WII U Gaming Lounges in some of Southwest's most heavily trafficked airports where passengers could pass the time by playing Super Mario 3D World and other games. Consumers nationwide could also join the fun by visiting www.southwest.com/nintendo to enter for a chance to win one of 30 prize packages that contained a pair of Southwest Airlines tickets and one WII U system. A winner was selected every day from Thanksgiving to Christmas. http://www.nintendo.com/whatsnew/detail/wzFysptTMhdgbxk7un10fKC34S1ytaWt
