The United States Olympic Committee, NBC and Choice Hotels partnered to promote the WINTER OLYMPICS 2006. Choice Hotels were the exclusive hotel category advertiser in NBC''s telecast of the 2006 WINTER OLYMPICS in Torino, Italy, from Feb. 10 - 26, 2006. Additionally, Choice aired 75 radio spots during Olympic broadcasts on Westwood One''s network featuring the voice of Phylicia Rashad. The partnership promoted the chain''s program, "Stay 2 times. Earn a free night." Travelers who belong or enrolled in Choice Privileges, the company frequent-guest program, qualified for free lodging when they stayed two separate times at any Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion or MainStay Suites brand. The ads also aired on MSNBC and CNBC networks. The campaign began February and ended April 30, 2006.
