The Torino Organising Committee and Samsung joined forces to promote the WINTER OLYMPICS 2006. Samsung rewarded the most outstanding stories of one person helping by letting them carry the Olympic torch in Torino. Fifteen winners won a trip to Torino for the 2006 OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES and carried the OLYMPIC Torch as it proceeded to the Torino OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES. To enter, participants submitted their story on samsung.com/torchrelay. The Torch Relay contest ran from May 9, 2005 through June 17, 2006.
