As part of the promotion, Papa John''s offered an XL X-treme cheese pizza with almost a pound of cheese for $11.99. Papa John''s also offered a $5 off coupon for the X-Men Trilogy on DVD or a $10 off coupon for X-Men Trilogy on Blu-ray with any pizza purchase. The national pizza chain additionally offered WOLVERINE-branded gift cards for a limited time. To support the promotion, a micro site was created at www.papajohns.com/wolverine that hosted exclusive content and downloadable wallpapers and buddy icons. The campaign was also supported by television commercials. The promotion lasted through May 31, 2009.
