Macy's partnered with Sinclair Oil for the 2019 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Sinclair's mascot Dino took his annual cross-country road trip to New York City to make a grand appearance in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. It stopped at Sinclair stations along the way to give out cool DINO swag – including a limited edition Sinclair Lego set – and offer customers a chance to win a trip to the 2019 parade. Entrants participated by going to www.dino2NYC.com and also downloading the Sinclair app for exclusive deals. There was limit one entry per day and chances were maximized by following Sinclair's social media accounts. Participants could take a photo of the Dino truck and post it to social media for a chance to win. The promotion also included 20 limited edition Sinclair Lego sets available at each Sinclair site event. The 2019 #DINO2NYC event offered a grand prize for four, a three night stay and $1,000 spending money to use in NYC during Thanksgiving 2019.
